Hey, there, future client! My name is Amanda Hood. I am the owner of Cherry Grapes Photography. I specialize in vintage wedding photography in the Dayton, Ohio area, as well as editorial style wedding photography. I considered writing a heartfelt Bio about how photography is my life, my passion, my everything, etc.; or, I could write about how I capture the true essence of you and your loved ones and your emotions. But, frankly, I seem to read that on almost every photographer's Bio page. So, I decided to write something a little more real...a little more.........me.

If you choose me to capture your wedding day, I will be thoroughly getting to know you, your fiance, your family, your wedding planner, and anyone else that you think is a special part of one of the biggest moments in your life. Throughout the wedding day, you will feel pleased that you and I have become friends, and that I know how to make you laugh on a busy, stressful day. You will take comfort in knowing that not a single exceptional moment will go unhighlighted, because you have me, and my team, on your side. You will feel comfortable enough with me to mention little "extra" moments that you need captured from me, and KNOW that I am happy to make those "extras" come true. If you choose me to photograph your family, I will get to know you, your children, your spouse, and I will carefully plan your shoot to make it PERFECT for your frames and walls! I assist you with dates, wardrobe, locations, and I enjoy every moment of this careful preparation. If you choose me to photograph your senior pictures, I will get to know you and your parents, and I will structure a superb shoot that defines who you are and what you represent in this year of your life. When you decide that I am the photographer for you, you can focus on what is truly important on your special day, be it a family photo session, senior portraits, or a wedding day, which is FAMILY. I will do the rest.
